Welcome to Mowden Pre-School
Here at Mowden Pre-School we aim to provide a safe, secure and happy environment with all round personal attention in a caring, warm-hearted, stimulating atmosphere for your children after their 2nd birthday.
We are a registered charity, managed by a voluntary committee and are Ofsted registered and a member of the Early Years Learning Alliance.
Mowden Pre-School has been established for over 40 years and operates from within Mowden Infant School.
Through our staff and parents we are able to provide our children with a genuine warm and loving atmosphere as well as an excellent introduction to education and social skills. This is achieved through well-balanced daily activities and playing.
We acknowledge that all children are individuals with individual needs and interests and work in partnership with parents to develop a positive relationship with both parent and child.

Sessions
Children can stay all day from 8.45am until 3.15pm. Our morning session times are 8.45am to 11.45am and our afternoon session times are 12.15pm to 3.15pm. We can accommodate up to 34 children in each session.
As we are a very popular Pre-School, please add your child's name to our waiting list as soon as possible.
What to expect
Here at Mowden Pre-School, we are known for providing excellent loving and holistic care for your child in their early years. We help them to become more resilient, confident, independent and sociable from within a learning environment, ready for when they leave early years and move on to Primary Education.
